Save the Date: International Albinism Conference at Lancaster University, September 2025

An International Albinism Conference will be held at Lancaster University on September 16-18, 2025. The interdisciplinary conference marks ten years since the establishment of the mandate (resolution: A/HRC/RES/28/6) of the United Nations Independent Expert on the rights of persons with albinism.

The conference will bring together albinism advocates, associations and human rights defenders, and researchers from varying fields to share expertise and new research findings.

They are calling for abstracts for presentations and panels due March 14th, 2025.

Two of our team members, Sheryl Reimer-Kirkham and Elvis Imafidon, are serving on the committe.
